Reed Exhibitions and Tüyap Expand Their Partnership

Reed Exhibitions and Tüyap, Turkey’s leading events and venue company, joined forces in 2012 combining their strengths to create a long term event organising partnership called Reed Tüyap.

Today, following the successful collaboration of the two companies, Reed Tüyap announces the second phase in their venture, with the expansion of its portfolio of events.

Over the past two years the partnership has grown from strength to strength, with both parties working effectively together across five events. The partnership has enabled international businesses to be supported in entering the Turkish market and has been equally successful in supporting Turkish companies’ entry into their chosen export markets.

Reed Tüyap will continue to deliver these business opportunities across the expanded portfolio of events which will now include the market leading events: Wood Processing Machinery, Intermob, Istanbul Window, Istanbul Glass and Istanbul Door Exhibitions.

Bülent ÜNAL, Chairman of TÜYAP, commented on the partnership: “We at Tüyap and Reed Exhibitions, are excited to further expand our partnership on the strong foundation that was laid back in 2012. Our collaboration has had a vast impact on the participation levels of international exhibitors as well as visitors and this has led both parties to consider new horizons to explore. We have now included into the Reed Tüyap portfolio, Wood Working Machinery-Intermob and Window-Door-Glass shows, two events that have a very significant place in Tüyap’s 35-year history. This expansion has enabled us to strengthen our partnership that has been built on trust, hard-work and perfectionism. Reed Tüyap will continue to provide best-in-class services to our exhibitors and visitors in order to maintain Turkey’s regional leadership in the exhibition industry.”

CEO Mike Rusbridge spoke on behalf of Reed Exhibitions: “Within a short two year period we have established a partnership with our Tüyap colleagues which is based on mutual understanding and respect. This solid foundation has led to the possibility of expanding our partnership further for the future. Over the past two years we have successfully taken steps to further internationalise our offering to our customers both through exhibition content and the physical operation of our events. We look forward to doing more to add value for our customers across our new and existing business.
