Austria Center Vienna to Host Kidney Congress in 2016

The Austria Center Vienna recently concluded its latest booking, with the European Renal Association – European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) confirming its slot for 2016. This medical congress, focused on nephrology, dialysis, kidney transplantation and high blood pressure, attracts 7,500 kidney specialists, transplant surgeons, geriatric care specialists and cardiologists from more than 100 different countries. Held from 21-25 May 2016 the conference will occupy 22,000m2 of the Austria Center Vienna.

“12,000m2 will be devoted to exhibitions in somewhere in the region of 800-900 scientific posters will be presented on each of the five days. The remaining 10,000m2 will be spread across 12 large rooms and halls, providing space for symposiums and free communication,” said Sales and Event Management head, Elisabeth Hansa.

ERA-EDTA will be returning to the Austria Center Vienna for the fourth time, after events in 1990, 1994 and 2001 each attracted around 4,000 delegates.
