How can the opinions of individuals and companies be combined with new technology to change an entire industry? This is one of the questions that will be discussed at Elfack’s new strategy conference.
The aim is to provide a forum for debate on issues of strategic commercial importance to energy companies, with the emphasis on technology and markets. Participants will include leading representatives from politics, authorities, energy companies, trade organisations, industry and academia. Annelie Hultén, Chairman of Gothenburg City Executive, will be the opening speaker.
“The playing rules in the energy market are mainly determined by political decisions and by regulations laid down and monitored by the authorities. But there are two areas that have a powerful influence on these decisions and they are technology and new opinion,” said Karl Elfstadius, one of the organisers behind the strategy conference.
The conference will also mark the start of Energy and Innovation Week in Gothenburg – in partnership between the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre and Chalmers University of Technology.
Elfack takes place on 13-17 May. For more information and the forum seminar programme for ELECTRICITY, POWER and LIGHT see www.elfack.com
