Jane O’Shea Appointed Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Viceroy Hotel Group

Viceroy Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Jane O’Shea as Regional Director of Sales & Marketing of the very first Regional Sales Office for the Viceroy Hotel Group in the UK.

O’Shea, who will be located in central London, will be setting up a dedicated UK Regional Sales office for the group and oversee the management of sales and marketing, predominantly in the UK, but also within Ireland and Scandinavia, effective immediately.

O’Shea brings 20 years of progressive sales experience to the role, having worked with a number of top-tier hotels and resorts.

Most recently, she worked as Head of Sales and Marketing at LUX* Resorts, charged with the launch of the new brand to the market in December 2011 and promoting the group’s nine hotels based in the Indian Ocean across the UK, Ireland, Nordics, Holland and US.

Proceeding her role at LUX* Resorts, Jane was Director of Global Sales at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts where she oversaw the seven hotels located in the Middle East, London and US and set up the first Jumeirah Regional Sales Office.

“To be given the opportunity to set up a dedicated UK Regional Sales office for the Viceroy Hotel Group is a challenge I am going to relish - I couldn't be joining at a more exciting time!

“The current portfolio of properties really are best in class and with the new openings that are scheduled over the next two years, it's going to be the brand to watch. The business from the UK market is incredibly important for the group, and I'm looking forward to building on the support that the company has seen to date.”
