Centara Unveils M23 Meetings Concept

The newly-opened M23 event space at Centara Grand&Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld is designed as a setting for business meetings and receptions, seminars, and golf.

Covering more than 1,000 square meters, the space is divided into four day-lit boardrooms offering views of the city skyline, and with a class/board room capacity from 18 to 50.

Along with its meetings facilities, M23, on the 23rd floor of the hotel, has its own reception area; open show kitchen and bar that caters for coffee breaks, luncheons, and social events; and a 50-meter-long, open-air patio with a putting green.

“With M23, we really have a new and exciting style of meeting space in Bangkok,” said Chris Bailey, Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing at Centara Hotels&Resorts.

“This is perfect for smaller events, where there is a high degree of social involvement, and along with the tailor-made catering arrangements and the opportunity to practice your golf swing, the views of Bangkok from the 23rd floor are, of course, magnificent."

Four meeting rooms

The four meeting rooms are equipped with comprehensive audio-visual capability, each being equipped with built-in LCD projectors and screens; high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access; personalized stationery; coffee machine; and stocked with a selection of soft drinks, still and sparkling mineral water, and lozenges. Meeting rooms M1 and M2 also have interactive screens.

The remaining area is divided into four spaces. My Foyer is a reception area with a modern interior design and plush seating. Dedicated to freshly-prepared food and beverages, My Kitchen is an open-show kitchen and bar that can cater to tea breaks, luncheons, and social events. Adjoining it is the alfresco My Terrace with views of the bustling city below and which works well for cocktails or a standing buffet. My Lawn is a 50-meter-long, open-air patio with a putting green that adds a casual fun element to this corporate retreat and is ideal for sunset cocktails, dinners, or BBQ.

With 505 luxurious rooms and suites, the hotel encompasses nine executive floors, including one World Executive Club floor, and nine food and beverage outlets that also include RedSky, a spectacular outdoor rooftop venue. These are matched by five-star-hotel facilities and service standards.
