Fairmont Singapore And Swissôtel The Stamford Honoured

Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford have again been honoured at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2011 - held in Zagreb, Croatia on 16 September 2011. Fairmont Singapore won the Luxury City Hotel award and Swissôtel The Stamford took home the Luxury Business Hotel award.

The Awards recognise hotels that have "gone the extra mile and transcended from being good hotels to becoming exceptional hotels.”

Nominations are made by guests, the organisations themselves, as well as travel agents, tour operators and independent travel consultants from around the world. This year's awards saw over 1,000 luxury properties from 87 countries, enrolled in the judging process. The property that receives the most number of votes worldwide is crowned the Overall Winner.
