The Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow is Europe’s Leading Luxury Business Hotel. The World Travel Awards have honoured Rezidor’s Russian flagship as top destination for business travellers – beating competitors such as the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel du Rhone in Geneva. At the same time, and for the second year in a row, the Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow has also been awarded Russia’s Leading Luxury Hotel.

We are not going to rest on our laurels, but will keep on improving,” said Wolfgang Nitschke, General Manager of the Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow at the award ceremony in Antalya, Turkey.

The Radisson Royal Hotel, Moscow (formerly known as “Hotel Ukraina”) is a landmark in the heart of the Russian capital city. The elegant complex was built between 1953 and 1957 as part of Stalin’s “Seven Sisters” - project and showcases Soviet Neo-classicism architecture. Soaring at 206 meters high, it was the largest European hotel of its day. Today, fully renovated, the Radisson Royal Hotel offers 497 rooms (including 38 serviced apartments), 7 gourmet restaurants with International, Iranian, Fusion, Italian and Japanese cuisine, a Spa & Wellness Centre spread across 3,500 square meters, 13 meeting rooms and a fully equipped business centre.

The World Travel Awards were founded in 1993 and are considered the best accolade with which tourism can be rewarded.
