Gdańsk Convention Bureau Supports International Physics Conference

The International Congress on Ultrasonics will be held in Gdansk from 5 to 8 September 2011. The conference is organised by the University of Gdansk.

The International Congresses on Ultrasonics was launched as a global conference format to overcome the fragmentation of the scientific and engineering community working in the general field of ultrasonics. It is expected that the ICU will provide an excellent platform for the exchange between scientists from industry, academia, government and suppliers of ultrasound equipment.

The Gdańsk Convention Bureau (GCB) will be supporting the organisation of the ICU and will provide promotional materials about Gdansk and Pomeranian Region. Its project 'Volunteers for Gdansk' will see locals welcoming foreign guests arriving for the conference.

During the conference the Tourist Information Point will be available for participants in the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics.
