The thirty-four floor Scandic Victoria Tower will open on 15 September 2011. Renowned Swedish architect Gert Wingårdh is the man behind the building, which will be entirely clad in glass.
The lobby, lounge and restaurant will flow into each other, creating a social arena for work, meetings, food, drink and relaxation. The hotel will feature designer furniture from Vitra, Montana and Flos throughout, while the Skybar on Floor 34 will offer breathtaking views across Stockholm.
The hotel will offer several options for networking and meetings. The nine flexible meeting rooms on the entrance level will provide a maximum capacity of 120 people. On Floor 33, the hotel will have a further seven conference rooms with exceptional views.
Kistamässan Exhibition Centre, which has capacity for up to 4,500 people, is next-door to the hotel. The centre of Kista is 500 metres from the hotel, with shopping in Kista Galleria, which also offers a cinema, restaurants and bars.
