Finlandia Hall To Receive New Extension
Finlandia Hall will receive a new extension called Veranda, which will be able host meetings, exhibitions and festive occasions. Composed of a single large space (2200 m2), the extension can be divided into smaller spaces of varying size according to the needs of the event. Veranda has been planned in close co-operation with National Board of Antiquities and work on it began in May 2010. The interior has been designed by Jaakko Puro. Veranda and a new public cafe, Cafe Veranda, will open in August 2011.
