Wild Wonders of Europe Exhibitions Opening On Two Continents

The 100 image Wild Wonders of Europe Outdoor Exhibition opens in Copenhagen, Denmark on 1 June 2011. The country's Minister of the Environment, Karen Elleman, together with the General Secretary of the WWF country office, Gitte Seeberg, will inaugurate the exhibition.

The exhibition will be located in Nytorv, in the middle of the famous pedestrian street Strøget, connecting the Town Hall and Kongens Nytorv Square. Entry is free and the exhibition will be open 24 hours-a-day until July 29th.

It is organized by Life Exhibitions, founded by Stine Norden and Søren Rud, who were previously responsible for the book and exhibition successes "Earth from Above" and "100 Places to Remember Before they Disappear".

Wild Wonders of Europe will also travel to China with an elegant 48 image indoor exhibition opening in Shanghai, 10 - 23 June, 2011. Located at the Shanghai Times Square Shopping Mall and open daily from 10am to 10pm, the exhibition coincides with The 14th Shanghai International Film Festival, (11 - 19 June) and is close to two well-known locations: People's Square and Shanghai Concert Hall.

The official inauguration is on June 11, at 3pm, with Wild Wonders of Europe Director and award-winning marine photographer Magnus Lundgren as the official guest of honour. Entrance is free. The exhibition will tour Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu, from July to August.
