Amsterdam RAI generated net turnover of €125.0 million in 2010, up 15.5% on the €108.2 million posted in 2009. The rise in turnover was mainly attributable to the success of its (own) international exhibitions and events held in 2010. Operating profit posted an impressive rise and reached €11.6 million (€4.4 million in 2009). After interest expenses and taxes, net profit came in at € 5.7 million (€0.2 million in 2009). The RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre was booked for international events for more than half of the past year - 201 days to be precise. During 2010 the RAI complex hosted 590 events which attracted a total of around 1.4 million visitors.
