Rezidor Hotel Group announces two new hotels in the UK
Rezidor Hotel Group (rezidor.com) has announced two new hotels in the United Kingdom; the Radisson Blu Hotel, Newcastle and the Park Inn Bournemouth will welcome guests in 2013.

The Radisson Blu Hotel, Newcastle has frontage on the central thoroughfare and is adjacent to the main train station. Apart from 170 rooms and suites featuring signature services such as free high speed internet access, the property will also offer a restaurant, a bar, 400 square metres of conference space, a fitness centre and parking.

Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor, commented, "Our portfolio of Radisson Blu hotels in the UK now comprises 17 properties in all major cities - including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Edinburgh. This clearly shows how important this home market is for our upper upscale brand".

The Park Inn Bournemouth will be located in the city centre, equidistant from the beach and the main train station (journey time to London by train is under two hours). Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) is also within walking distance, making the Park Inn an ideal choice for leisure and business travellers. Besides 172 rooms, the property will feature a restaurant, a bar, a gym and meeting rooms. With a highly-visible, hilltop location, the hotel is an integral part of a mixed-use development which will include residential towers, office space, retail areas and extensive parking.

"Our young and dynamic mid-market brand Park Inn by Radisson will further grow in the key market of the UK. The hotels offer excellent value for money and hassle free stays," added Kurt Ritter.
