Nordic MICE Summit 2020 moved to new November dates 2021

The Corona pandemic has still a very strong hold worldwide which highly affects events that should have taken place in 2020.

Denmark-based CCMG – Congress Consulting Management Group- has also been affected and has taken the difficult decision to move The Nordic MICE Summit 2021 to the end of 2021 – 4th-6th November.

The Nordic MICE Summit, originally planned for March 2021, will now take place later in the year at Hotel Ottilia in Carlsberg City District.

Hotel Ottilia is located in Copenhagens new urban and cultural district: Carlsberg city district - perfectly located between Frederiksberg, Valby and Vesterbro. Carlsberg city district is an area that is booming with activity, where small shops, cool restaurants and cozy cafes stretch along the streets along with a wealth of cultural sights and art.

Hotel Ottilia is the center of this new area. Explore the neighborhood by bike or walk around the small streets and areas where you will find the local Copenhageners hanging out in the small squares or in one of the historic gardens among the industrial buildings (once known for brewing beer). Carlsberg city district is known for beer. The name probably says it all, as it is more precisely Carlsberg Breweries due to J. Jacobsen. You can still find the original historic buildings, the old stables with brewery horses and The Jacobsen Brewery House.

Organisers expect around 50 high level mainly European MICE suppliers from Nordic/European hotels, hotel chains, CVBs, Convention Bureaus, DMC and Airlines that have an interest in and a strong focus in a closer cooperation with the Nordic countries- Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland as well as around 50 high potential MICE Buyers primarily from the Nordics but also from other strong main MICE markets in Europe.

With a programme of speed date meetings, as well as curates activities and events, organisers will create a strong Nordic MICE marketplace.

At this point we have already representatives from the following countries signed up: Denmark, Germany, Holland, Italy, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland…
