AIM Group International’s Annual Report Shows Steady Growth for 2018

Increased EBITDA and overall turnover, diversification of the business, major events realised and acquired are among the flagship results.

AIM Group International, a leading company in congresses, events and communication, publishes its Corporate Annual Report 2018 and announces positive economic and business results.

2018 was marked by significant achievements in a number of areas including new business acquisitions; efficient organisation of an impressive number of congresses and events; client diversification and financial consolidation. The major projects realised include investments in communication, with the acquisition of the majority stake of VanGogh agency which enabled the Group to enlarge the range of services offered, and the opening of a new office in Barcelona.

“Thanks to these accomplishments, led by the entire management team and supported by everyone’s hard work, AIM Group looks positively to the future” underlines Gianluca Buongiorno, president AIM Group International. “Our new Business Plan is orienting us to be stronger, with an enhanced international profile and, most importantly, with a financially robust position”.

In regard to the details of our economic results, our 2018 Consolidated Balance is positive with both the EBITDA and overall turnover recording a double-digit increase compared to the 2017 results. The EBIDTA is almost 2.7 million euro, representing 3 % and recording a +28 % increase compared to the 2017 EBITDA, and the overall turnover is 99 million euro, with a +13 % of growth. When including those companies not fully owned by the Group, the overall turnover surpasses 110 million euro. These results are in line with the Business Plan 2018–2020 which sets the future financial goals with the EBITDA at 5 %.

“In 2018, we launched the Business Plan 2018–2020, based on the solid results achieved” explains Gianluca Scavo, CEO AIM Group International. “Our ambitious development path focuses on three main priorities: consolidation of our business portfolio; new strategic acquisitions; and the opening of new offices in dynamic destinations. Finally, the value that we emphasize in our plan is growth coupled with high profitability.”
