Cvent – Experiences Record Momentum with Fortune 500

Cvent signs 10 Fortune 500 Companies in Past Six Months; Partners with Five of the Top 10 Largest Corporate Travel Management Companies.

Cvent, the world's largest provider of online event management, meeting site selection and web surveys, today announced it has added 10 Fortune 500 companies as customers of its Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) solution over the past six months alone. Companies that have signed on with Cvent to centrally manage enterprise-wide meetings spend and streamline meetings processes include Coca-Cola, WellPoint and Deere & Company.

In addition to increasing use of Cvent's SMM solution by some of the largest pharmaceutical, financial, consumer product and healthcare organizations, Cvent's SMM system has also become the preferred solution of corporate travel management companies (TMCs), with five of the 10 largest corporate TMCs now using Cvent's software to manage meetings programs on behalf of their clients.

"We've seen tremendous traction with our SMM solution among the Fortune 500 and travel management companies alike, who have switched to using Cvent for the flexibility, cost-effectiveness and user-friendly features of our software," said Anil Punyapu, Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Cvent. "SMM technology solutions are most effective when used consistently by meeting planners enterprise-wide, and the intuitive nature of Cvent's software encourages widespread adoption and policy compliance, ultimately translating to quantifiable time and cost savings."

Cvent's robust yet user-friendly SMM solution is a comprehensive, configurable platform through which corporate meeting planners can execute and manage all components of their meetings program, including: strategic sourcing, meeting registration, budgeting, payment processing, approval coordination, report generation and return on investment analysis. What's more, the toolset allows all stakeholders, from procurement and finance professionals to travel and meeting department managers, to easily monitor SMM program compliance and results.
