First Trade Fair for Architects and Urban Planners in Northern Europe
Until now there has not been a dedicated architecture fair in Northern Europe. But this month the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre will host a fair and congress for those who work in architecture and urban planning. A long list of speakers is booked to appear, as well as a wide range of exhibitors. The theme of the exhibition is sustainability, both social and economic. The participants include architects, suppliers of materials, municipalities, politicians, research clusters, property owners and artists. A party will be held at the Museum of World Culture (Världskulturmuseet) during the fair, at which the Arkitekturmässan Awards will be presented. The categories are: best building, best public place and best urban plan. Arkitekturmässan takes place on 24–25 October 2011 in Gothenburg. For more information go to www.arkitekturmassan.se |
